Protecting Central Minnesota farms & homesteads for nearly 150 years.
Unity Mutual Insurance is a township mutual owned by the people it protects — quality coverage tailored to your needs and your budget, backed by neighbors, not shareholders.
Your Central Minnesota insurance company
In 1878, fifteen neighboring farmers in Stockholm Township couldn’t get the big eastern stock companies to protect their property — so they protected each other. Nearly 150 years later, Unity Mutual still works the same way: members contribute to a common treasury, and when a loss strikes, the company makes their neighbor whole. At cost, not for profit.
Today we serve twenty counties across Central Minnesota with coverage for homes, farms, and everything that makes life here worth protecting.

Cities above the statutory population limit are excluded: Blaine; Brooklyn Park, Edina, Minneapolis, Minnetonka, Richfield, and St. Louis Park; and the St. Cloud proper area (outskirts are fine). Ask your agent if you’re unsure.
